We had a great luncheon in April, we were in a new room and I heard nothing but good things about it. Big mahalo to Santiago Polo of Palo Alto Networks for a great threat protection presentation. Please let any board member know if you would like a copy of the presentation.
Start gearing up for the 1st annual HICTA after hours mixer. It will be on July 25th at Pearl Night Club. It will start at 5:30 and run into the night. It will be free to all HICTA members and a nominal charge for non-members. Thanks to Diane Stephens for organizing this for us!
We are still updating the by-laws, there are many things to consider and lots of different viewpoints. If you have any interest in helping the by-law update please let me know - president@hicta.org. We plan to have a draft to present to the membership at the June meeting.
Please join us May 21st where Mike Cardinal the General Manager and Founder of ThinLaunch Software will be speaking. He is an expert with Desktop and Application virtualization implementations from VMware, Microsoft and Citrix. It will be a very informative presentation.

Aloha, and Welcome to the Hawaii Information, Communications, and Technology Association
An association dedicated to fostering the development of Information, Communications, and Technology (ICT) Professionals in the State of Hawaii and to advance the progression of HICTA members across industries.
-The goals of the associate are:
-Present a forum for information dissemination within the ICT community,
-Encourage professional development of members of the organization,
-Create opportunities for networking amongst members,
-Cultivate interest in the ICT field, including fostering the development of future professionals
-Give back to our community via philanthropic endeavors.
