Corporate Account Manager III- Hawaiian Telcom – As a Corporate Account Manager for Hawaiian Telcom, Diane Stephens works with the company’s large business customers throughout the State of Hawaii. She began her career in the telecommunications business over 30 years ago and has won numerous performance awards. When she’s not taking care of her clients, she spends her time volunteering as a Hawaiian Telcom Brand Champion to promote employee engagement, Living Lokahi group who provides health and wellness, Good Government Club and bowling in the Hawaiian Telephone weekly bowling league. She enjoys trying out new restaurants, going to the movies, concerts and attending her grandchildren’s sports events. Chief Financial Officer – DRFortress Rosa White serves as the Chief Financial Officer and is one of the founders of DRFortress. She has 16 years of experience in the IT and telecommunication industry, specializing in finance, system and process implementation, and product development. Rosa is responsible for all finance, budget, and human resource aspects for the Company. Rosa’s previous positions include Asia Pacific Solution Development Manager for Equinix where she managed all cross-regional sales efforts, new business and service offering opportunities, Senior Consultant for KPMG Consulting, Financial Controller at Strategic Information Solutions, and Revenue Reporting Manager at Adobe Systems. She graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice President – Hawaii Pacific University
As CIO of Hawaii Pacific University, Cody leads the central IT Services unit, which oversees and manages the University’s network infrastructure, enterprise systems, security, instructional technology, ERP, and business intelligence.
Cody has been in higher education for over 20 years and previously headed up the IT department at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Washington State. He also spent over 10 years working in various IT units at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Cody has an undergraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Washington and a Master’s of Science in Information Systems from Minot State University, in North Dakota. His experience also includes project management, strategic planning, master planning, and leading customer improvement initiatives.
David serves as the Director of Information Assurance Architecture at Hawaiian Electric Company in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is responsible for oversight of security architecture for enterprise IT systems, Industrial Control Systems, and Smart Grid initiatives across five of the Hawaiian Islands. Prior to the director role, David served as a systems engineer for a global automotive manufacturer, where he led efforts to modernize factory floor automation, SCADA systems, and Human Machine Interfaces. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a MBA from Robert Morris University.
Senior Account Executive – Gartner Inc. Dale Aiello has resided in Hawaii since 1975. He started the Gartner practice in 1993 and has grown the business from 0 to over $13M in revenues in 2013. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada in 1970.
Co-founder – Integrated Security Technologies (IST), a Honolulu based low-voltage electrical contracting firm specializing in physical security system design, implementation, and maintenance. He began his computer and electronics career in 1982 studying COBOL, FORTRAN, and ASSEMBLER programming languages. From 1985-1990, he maintained and operated shipboard weapons systems for the United States Navy, earning a combat-action ribbon in the Persian Gulf aboard the USS Joseph Strauss in 1998.
He majored in Psychology and Anthropology at the University of Hawaii, and published his communications master’s thesis Tsunami Warning Sirens: Perceptions of Oahu Publics — at Hawaii Pacific University in 2011. Andrew is a multiple Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow recipient and a member of the Honolulu Chamber of Commerce speaker’s bureau for security matters. He also co-hosts “HibachiTalk,” a weekly technology talk show on ThinkTech Hawaii.
Express Employment Professionals, Group Director – IT & Healthcare Divisions Les Daijo leads the Hawaii state territories of Express Employment Professionals, North America’s largest franchised staffing company, to provide top quality IT & Healthcare employees for their clients. He began his career in the tech industry 12 years ago as the Hawaii Account Executive with world-wide storage leader, EMC Corp and was then recruited by EMC’s largest competitor, NetApp, as the Hawaii Commercial Account Manager. Director of IT Operations – Hawaii Health Information Exchange (Hawaii HIE) Arthur Garbiso has over 18 years of experience in information technology as an educator, project and program manager, technical lead, administrator and executive leader. His primary focus has been working with partners and clients throughout the State of Hawaii, United States Affiliated Pacific Islands and Asia Pacific regions. Art has been recognized as one of the top 50 high-tech leaders in Hawai’i. David Lau has been in the information technology industry since 1984. He has worked for the University of Hawaii, Software Plus, Software House International, TD Food Service, Inc, and TW telecom prior to Level 3 Communications. David has worked on wide area network deployment through out the United States as well as to Guam and Saipan.
At Level 3 Communications, David assists account executives with pre- and post-sale technical questions, and designs network solutions for customers. He also works closely with Level 3 Communications Operations department on new customer network designs to ensure designs can be implemented.
